Australian Curriculum: Technologies - first impression

It had been out for a month, an overcast Sunday afternoon seemed as good a time as any to take a look at the document titled DRAFT Shape of the Australian Curriculum: Technologies.

In just the first five pages so much of the language and terminology used is similar to that of Education Queensland's (EQ) Smart Classrooms Professional Development Framework.  I also feel like I could almost overlay the introduction onto the EQ Productive Pedagogies framework for a perfect fit.
Yay team :)    

The connected mind

"Chance favours the connected mind".  What a great clip this is from Steven Johnson discussing how innovation happens.  Great food for thought as far as how we facilitators of learning can create the optimal environment for creativity.
